Journal Scope and Aim

The International Journal of Pharma Insight Studies is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research, reviews, and short communications in pharmaceutical sciences, clinical research, drug development, medical sciences, and related disciplines.

The journal emphasizes novelty, scientific rigor, and ethical compliance. Manuscripts should contribute original knowledge, demonstrate methodological soundness, and be relevant to the journal scope.

Manuscript Types Accepted

The journal accepts the following manuscript types:

  1. Original Research Articles - full reports of novel research
  2. Review Articles - critical, up-to-date literature reviews
  3. Short Communications - concise reports of preliminary findings
  4. Case Reports - clinical case studies with ethics approval and consent
  5. Systematic Reviews & Meta-Analyses - following PRISMA guidelines

Note: Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise English and follow the formatting guidelines below.

Pre-Submission Checklist

Before submission, ensure your manuscript meets the following:

  1. Originality: The manuscript is unpublished and not under consideration elsewhere
  2. Authorship Approval: All authors have approved the final version
  3. Ethical Compliance: Ethics approval, informed consent, and relevant statements are included
  4. Proper Citation: All references and previous works are appropriately cited
  5. Formatting Compliance: Manuscript adheres to journal structure and style

Scopus focus: Clear adherence to originality, ethics, and authorship policies signals publication integrity.

Authorship Criteria

Authors must meet all four ICMJE criteria:

  1. Substantial contribution to the conception, design, data acquisition, or analysis
  2. Drafting or critical revision of the manuscript
  3. Final approval of the version to be published
  4. Accountability for all aspects of the work

Contributors who do not meet authorship criteria should be listed in Acknowledgments with permission.

Manuscript Structure and Formatting
1. Title Page

Include:

  1. Full title of the manuscript
  2. Complete author names with affiliations
  3. Corresponding author contact (email and postal address)
  4. ORCID iD (optional but recommended)
2. Abstract & Keywords
  1. Structured abstract (< 250 words) summarizing objectives, methods, results, and conclusions
  2. Provide 3-6 keywords in alphabetical order
3. Main Text Sections
  1. Introduction
  2. Materials and Methods / Methodology
  3. Results
  4. Discussion
  5. Conclusion
  6. Acknowledgments
  7. Declarations: Conflicts of Interest, Funding, Ethics Approval
  8. References

Tables, figures, and supplementary materials should be clearly numbered and captioned.

Ethical Statements and Compliance

All manuscripts involving human participants, human data, or biological material must include:

  1. Ethics Committee / IRB Approval (name, approval number, date)
  2. Informed Consent Statement for participants (or legal guardians)
  3. Consent for publication for identifiable data or images
  4. Conflict of Interest Declaration
  5. Funding Sources

Non-compliance may lead to rejection or withdrawal.

Scopus highlight: Transparency in ethics statements is mandatory for indexing approval.

Plagiarism and Originality
  1. Manuscripts are screened using reliable plagiarism detection tools
  2. Original work must be clearly cited and distinguished from prior publications
  3. Self-plagiarism or duplicate submissions are not allowed
  4. Manuscripts with serious ethical issues will be rejected outright

  3. Optionally, suggest 2-4 qualified reviewers
